FAQ

Questions, answered.

These are the most common questions from server owners. If you need something more specific, hop into the support Discord and ask directly.

Is AntiScammer open source?
No. Because scammers actively try to evade detection, the internals and model are kept private. Public docs explain dashboard behaviour, Pro webhooks, and what data is logged. Partner API access is negotiated separately for approved integrations.
What data does AntiScammer store?
AntiScammer stores the minimum data required to detect and prevent scams: message content for analysis, basic metadata, and case logs for moderation. Sensitive or private data is not shared outside the system, and you can request case deletion where appropriate.
Will it ban people without warning?
AntiScammer won't ban anyone without a prior warning to moderators, unless the user is already on the global flagged list. Flagged messages are escalated to mods, who can report the user for a global ban. If a globally banned user joins a protected server, AntiScammer alerts the mods and auto-bans them after a DM.
How do I report a trusted URL?
Use `/report_false_positive` directly in your server or contact the support team. Trusted URLs are used to improve patterns and reduce noise over time.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Visit our Patreon or contact the support team. Guild Pro unlocks higher scan limits, restore helpers, HTTPS alert webhooks, CSV exports, trusted-role bypass, per-channel sensitivity, optional shadow (dry-run) mode, and priority support. Partner REST API keys are negotiated separately for B2B integrations.
